Why Sales?
Why Sales? Sales is not an easy field to get into. For me I believe it is the right field for my set career. Considering that I inspire to be in the fashion field, there is a lot of selling that plays a part when it comes to the fashion industry.
Sales is a competitive field and as someone that thrives and is exhilarated by a good competition sales is a good area for me. It provides you with exciting challenges for people to grow in a competitive environment.
Sales is the life support of business growth, where competitiveness and passion meets strategy to create long lasting connections and promote success.

Professional Selling Program
The professional selling program is a program that helps students become better sellers in the business world. PSP gives present real world situations to their students and also teach them techniques on how to navigate through a sales call, giving a pitch, and how to communicate with a big corporation. The program sets up events so their students are able to interact with different company officials and well and help them to land a role at a company of their dreams. It is designed to prepare students in becoming future leaders in sales. As well as exposes students to updated practices and techniques.
- The program accepts only 35 students each year.
- The professional selling track is offered by the marketing department in college of business
- Extensive role play exercises and sales methods
- Start every August with a new set of students and ends in May once that set of students graduate
- Exquisite dress code requirements to look business professionals
- Mentorship program that allows each student to be coached by someone in their field. Each term there is a new mentor.
